Allison Maschhoff joined the English faculty at Concordia University Chicago in 2026. She is passionate about fostering students' creativity and critical thinking skills so that they can not only interpret the world around them but also add their voices to it. Her own writing focuses on human relationships and emotions, oftentimes within a dystopian setting.

Previous Experience

Before coming to Concordia, Professor Maschhoff taught at St. Louis Community College, primarily at the Florissant Valley campus. There, she worked on a committee to help English language learner students get proper support.
