RESOURCES:

Articles

All students can log into Concordia Connect and click on “Library” under Quick Links to access the library’s electronic resources.

It will take you to the library’s home page.

If you click on Find Articles in EBSCO, and there is something you find, but is not full text, you have two options:

  1. Click on the “Request Item” button and fill out the form with an email you would like the document to be delivered.
  2. If you need to request a specific article not found in EBSCO or other CUC databases, complete the Interlibrary Loan Request Form. Articles are delivered via email.

Books, eBooks, and AV Materials

Search the Library Catalog before submitting a request for physical materials. If you would prefer physical books or AV materials to be mailed to you, complete the Interlibrary Loan Request Form.

For students out of state, check your local public, academic, or local research libraries for books before submitting delivery requests.

Please note: Out-of-State students cannot borrow I-Share books (unless you want to visit the physical campus to pick up your material). To request books, out-of-state students must complete the Interlibrary Loan Request Form.

Dissertations

For dissertations, search ProQuest Dissertations prior to submitting a request. To request dissertations not found in the ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global database, complete the Interlibrary Loan Request Form.

Out-of-State Students Returning Materials

Patrons may return Concordia’s materials as well as items borrowed through the I-Share catalog to the Klinck Memorial Library circulation desk, the outside drop box located by the main library entrance, or to any I-Share member library. Materials are discharged from the borrower's account at the location to which they are returned prior to being shipped back to the lending library.

Materials borrowed from a non I-Share library must be returned to the Klinck Memorial Library. Concordia ships materials back to the lending library where they are discharged from the borrower’s account.

Borrowers are responsible for the return postage and for materials lost in the mail. Please return your items using this address:

Klinck Memorial Library
Concordia University Chicago
7400 Augusta St.
River Forest, IL 60305
