An agreement between Concordia University Chicago (CUC) and Concordia University St. Paul (CSP) makes CUC’s doctoral programs more affordable and accessible to continuing students who have completed a master’s degree at CSP. Concordia University St. Paul students who meet eligibility and admission requirements will receive a discounted tuition rate with special admission consideration. As fellow members of the Concordia University System, CUC and CSP share a commitment to prepare individuals to serve as Christian leaders for the Church, community and world through a Lutheran lens.

Admission Requirements

  • Master’s degree with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.
  • Doctoral application for admission.
  • Official academic transcripts from institutions where degrees were earned.
  • Fulfillment of specific program requirements (experience requirements, licensure, etc.).
  • Rationale statement, including your personal goals in applying for admission to the program.
  • Letters of recommendation from Concordia St. Paul Dean and department chair or professor.
